We took the bus to go to Cherbourg at 7 AM and stopped every two hours so the driver could rest. Arriving at Cherbourg we waited two hours until we could enter the ferry. The cabins were small but comfortable. Anyway, it was just for one night. Unfortunately, we couldn't go on the deck at night because we wouldn't have been able to see anything and it was dangerous.
